Mojgan Jahanara
ProfessorMojgan Jahanara holds a PhD in Design Theory, Visual Communication from Kobe Design University, Japan, and a Masters Degree in Textile Design. She has 15+ years of Academic experience, nationally and internationally. On the academic front, Mojgan has worked with the University of Art, Iran, in the Textile Department, IIT Guwahati, India, in the Design Program. She has been a visiting faculty at IIT Kanpur and IICD Jaipur. She has worked as the Head of Iranian Design at the Asian Design Research Group, Iranian Academy of Art.
On the industrial front, she served as the Head of Design at Pars Carpet Company, Iran, Tehran. She was commended by the Japanese Foreign Minister for Promoting mutual understanding between Japan and Iran, Tehran.
She has published and presented several research ers on different topics at various renowned International and National Universities and forums. She has also authored books on various topics that have been published. She has conducted workshops at IIT Kanpur, IIT (IDC), Mumbai, ISI Denpasar, Indonesia, University of Art, Tehran, and many other institutes of international repute.
